Rockstar has told us exactly eight names, and the internet has invented a hundred more. This is the official cast of GTA 6 as Rockstar itself presents it, what each character's own page reveals, and the honest status of the biggest unanswered casting question in games.
Who do you play as in GTA 6?
Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, together. The setup is a crime couple whose relationship is the story's engine, and you switch between them; how that switching works moment to moment is one of the things Rockstar has still not shown. Jason is an ex soldier scraping by on smuggling work in the Leonida Keys when the story starts. Lucia enters it fresh out of Leonida Correctional, with her freedom to lose and everything to prove.
The pairing does two things the series has never done at once: it gives GTA its first co equal romantic leads, and it makes Lucia the first woman fronting a mainline GTA since the top down era of the late nineties.

Read as a set, the roster sketches the game's shape: Keys smuggling on one end, Vice City nightlife and music money on the other, and armed robbery as the career ladder between them.
Who are the GTA 6 voice actors?
Officially, nobody knows, and that is the truthful answer a surprising number of articles refuse to give. Rockstar has never credited the performers behind Jason and Lucia. Fan investigations have matched trailer audio and casting trails to working actors, and some identifications are probably right, but none carry a Rockstar confirmation. The company has form here: it kept GTA 5's leads under wraps until release and let RDR2's cast surface the same way.
Expect the credits, or a launch window interview, to settle it. Until then we do not print names, because a wrong guess attached to a real person's career is exactly the kind of noise this site exists to filter.
What has not been shown yet?
The antagonist, for one. Every marketing beat so far has stayed on the couple and their world, and no villain has been named or shown. The switching mechanic is the other big absence: whether it works like GTA 5's free swap, or something story gated, is unknown.
